The public dump site is located on the south side of the block.
Campground sites are available through our reservation system at https://www.lodgix.com/48761/ or by calling 701-361-5298. Due to the large volume of calls we receive, we ask that you read the information provided and book online before calling.
At Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging, we offer 12 campsites equipped with water and 30/50 amp electric hookups. While our sites do not include sewer connections, a public RV dump site is available on the southeast corner of the block and is open seasonally.
Our campground operates seasonally from May through November. While water hookups will be weather-dependent in the fall, we will continue to provide electric service throughout the season.
Campground Check-In is located at the Bird Cleaning Station on the south side of the block (small tan building near the RV dump site). Each camper is required to fill out a registration form and review and sign off on our campground policies upon arrival.
Camping is $30/night. We do not offer discounts for long-term stays at this time.
Firewood is available for purchase at $6.00 per bundle. You can find it inside the east end of the Bird Cleaning Station (small tan building near the RV dump site). Payment for firewood can be made by check, cash, Venmo, or PayPal and deposited inside the black box inside the Bird Cleaning Station.
While visiting Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging, we hope you create lasting memories with your family and friends while embracing safety, courtesy, and respect for others and the environment.
Please note that Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging reserves the right to remove any guest at our sole discretion. Guests who fail to follow these rules and regulations, or engage in behavior deemed inappropriate by management, will be asked to leave the property without a refund.
By staying at Nineteen26 Campground, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these rules and regulations. You are also responsible for ensuring that your children, guests, and invitees are aware of and comply with the rules and regulations.
Our property is monitored by video surveillance, and anyone found violating these rules and regulations may be removed from the property at the discretion of the owners or management.
Campground check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Cancellation Policy:
We ask that you please read and adhere to the following cancellation policy.
If booking in advance online:
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 14 days before your arrival. The remaining amount will be automatically charged to your card 14 days before your stay, so no additional action is needed on your part. If you are within the 14-day window at the time of booking, the total amount will be charged to your card immediately.
To receive a full refund, all cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before arrival will result in forfeiture of the 50% deposit .
Reservations are non-refundable if canceled within 24 hours of the check-in time.
The credit card fee is non-refundable with any cancellation.
Safety Guidelines:
1. Safety First: The well-being of our guests is our top priority. Each individual is responsible for exercising good judgment and caution to ensure their own safety and that of others.
2. Speed Limit: The speed limit is strictly 5 mph throughout Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging.
3. Children: Children must be supervised at all times. We are not responsible for accidents or injuries.
4. Prohibited Items: Fireworks, sparklers, floating lanterns, firearms, weapons of any kind, explosives, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the property at all times, including in campers.
5. Disorderly Conduct: Any disorderly behavior, including that influenced by alcohol, will not be tolerated. No one under the age of 21 may consume alcoholic beverages while on campground property. Persons who drink alcohol are responsible for doing so in a peaceful, non-disruptive manner.
6. Illegal Activity: Anyone, adult or child, found engaging in theft, property damage, harm to others, or any illegal activity will be evicted from the campground immediately, without exception. Parents will be held financially responsible for any damages caused by their children.
7. Bicycles, Etc.: Bicycles, skateboards, and skates must be used responsibly. Children must wear helmets when using any wheeled devices. No one, including adults, is permitted to ride bikes after dusk.
8. ATVs: The use of ATVs is not allowed on campground property.
9. Curfew for Minors: All minors under 18 must be at their campsite by 10:00 PM. Children under 16 may not be left unsupervised alone without a parent or guardian on campground property.
10. Night Patrol: Campground personnel conduct periodic night patrols. Their decisions regarding noise, campfires, and infringement of the rules are final.
11. Campfires: Campfires are permitted only during certain times of the year and only in designated campfire areas/pits. If you start a fire, you are responsible for any damage it causes. Fires must be fully extinguished at the end of the evening and must not be left unattended.
12. Burn Ban: During a county or statewide burn ban, campfires are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Violators will be fined.
13. Pets: All pets brought by guests must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies. They must be leashed and under strict supervision at all times. No exceptions. Owners are required to keep vaccination records on hand and provide them upon request from management.
Courtesy:
1. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During this time, music and conversation outside campers are allowed as long as they do not disturb your neighbors. For everyone's enjoyment, please respect these quiet hours. Children must remain at their campsite during this time unless accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons, children's motorized vehicles, scooters, minibikes, and 4-wheelers are not permitted.
2. Behavior: Bullying, intimidation, or offensive behavior by or between guests will not be tolerated. Both parties involved will be asked to leave the property if such behavior occurs.
3. Conflict Resolution: If you have an issue with a neighbor, please try to resolve it calmly and directly before contacting campground staff.
Visitors:
1. Each campsite is limited to four day visitors. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 PM.
2. We welcome day visitors to the campground; however, they must follow all rules and regulations. The renter of the campsite is responsible for their visitors' conduct.
3. Day visitors must park on the street. Due to space limitations, parking on the property is reserved for paying campground and motel guests.
4. All pets brought by visitors must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies. They must be leashed and under strict supervision at all times. No exceptions. Owners are required to keep vaccination records on hand and provide them upon request from management.
5. We reserve the right to deny entry to anyone for any lawful reason or to remove individuals engaging in unacceptable behavior.
Vehicles:
1. The speed limit on Ninteen26 Campground & Lodging property is strictly 5 mph.
2. Each campsite is permitted one vehicle, provided it does not obstruct the main driveway. This depends on the size of your camper. If your vehicle cannot fit in front of your camper, please use the overflow parking located on the south side of the block.
3. Parking is not allowed on the road or at any campsite other than your own. Vehicles are also prohibited from parking on the lawn.
4. Parking in the overflow area for more than 72 hours requires approval from management.
5. Only licensed drivers are permitted to operate vehicles on campground property. ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, and similar vehicles are not allowed to be used on the premises.
Campground Property:
1. Respect the privacy of others by staying off their campsites.
2. When parking your camper, ensure that your neighbors have adequate space, avoiding obstruction between slide-outs and tables.
3. Campers may not alter campsites or Campground facilities in any way without explicit permission from campground management.
4. Tampering with, damaging, or altering any amenities, such as releasing air or disconnecting utilities, is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate removal from the property.
5. Campers are responsible for managing their electrical usage to avoid overloading the power supply. We are not responsible for power surges and strongly recommend using a surge protector.
6. All trash must be disposed of in the dumpster located at the south end of the motel. Trash must be tied in plastic bags.
7. Cardboard boxes must be broken down and placed in the appropriate trash receptacle.
8. Non-household trash (such as broken appliances, lawn chairs, or grills) must be taken home. Failure to do so will result in a $200.00 fine.
9. Please keep your campsite clean and free of trash and litter.
10. Picnic tables provided at campsites must remain in place and should not be moved.
11. Small campfires are allowed at sites with designated fire pits. Do not burn garbage in the fire pits. Campers may bring in wood purchased within North Dakota. Firewood is available for purchase at $6.00 per bundle on the south side of the block in the bird cleaning station. Use the money drop box provided there. Checks can be made to Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging.
12. A 10-foot clearance must be maintained around your campfire. Do not cut down trees or foliage. All fires must be fully extinguished when unattended.
13. All gray water and discharge from campers must go into a transfer tank. Failure to comply may result in fines and expulsion from the campground.
14. Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging owners and operators may enter any campsite at any time for (A) emergency situations, (B) suspected abandonment, (C) suspicion of rental agreement violation, or (D) to perform necessary or agreed-upon repairs, decorations, alterations, or improvements.
15. Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging assumes no liability for any injuries sustained by patrons or visitors.
Pet Policy:
1. All pets must be leashed at all times, as per city regulations. If pets are not leashed, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the premises.
2. If there is a dog bite or an altercation between dogs, law enforcement will be contacted.
3. Pet owners must pick up all pet waste and dispose of it in the proper trash receptacles.
4. Dogs left unattended or those that bark excessively throughout the day are not allowed. Owners will be contacted to address the issue or asked to leave the campground, as this disrupts other guests' experiences.
Miscellaneous Rules:
1. Smoking is prohibited in all common areas, including bathhouses, restrooms, and motel rooms. Cigarettes must be fully extinguished before being discarded in trash bins or receptacles—do not throw them on the ground. 2. Grills must be kept at least 10 feet away from camping units, buildings, and gas or propane storage areas for safety.
3. Please do not tamper with the backflow prevention device located on the water spigot or the splitter. Each campsite shares a water spigot with its neighbor, and campers should only use one side of the water splitter. Ensure that the water is completely turned off when you check out.
Emergency Plan:
1. Severe Weather: There is no storm shelter onsite. Campers are responsible for monitoring weather conditions and camping at their own risk. Local radio stations for updates include KQDY 94.5 FM and KFYR 550 AM. If severe weather is forecasted, several local businesses offer safe places to wait out the storm, including the Coffee Cup Travel Plaza, AMVETS, and the basement of the local Community Building.
2. Emergency Contact: In an emergency, dial 9-1-1 immediately. Campground Location: Kidder County, 220 3rd Ave NE, Steele, ND 58482.
3. Medical Emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency or accident, campers grant permission for emergency medical treatment. This includes treatment of minor injuries and/or calling emergency services for transport to a hospital. Campers agree to hold Nineteen26 Campground and Lodging, its owners, and agents harmless from any litigation or costs that may arise as a result of rendering assistance.

Liability:
Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging, LLC is not liable for any loss or damage of any kind. By staying at Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging, guests and campers agree to release Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging, LLC from all liability.
As a guest, I agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies as communicated publicly or in writing by campground management. I understand that any violation of these rules or any actions that, in the sole discretion of management, endanger the physical or emotional well-being of individuals, families, or other guests may result in immediate eviction without a refund.
Nineteen26 Campground & Lodging reserves the right to interpret and enforce all rules without exception.
